This theory is dispelled by the fact that Adam and Eve still chose to disobey even when they were in paradise, had no original sin, and the Holy God was their only parent. Satan never asked Eve to eat of the fruit - she chose it herself after weighing the pros and cons. When man chose to have the knowledge of good and evil, they were essentially saying that they wanted to decide what is right and wrong, rather than letting God decide for them.
